In response to claims that state government had allotted MBBS seat to one Md. Inzamul Hoque Talukdar, who filed a case against the candidates selected under NEE 2015, the Naga Students’ Federation (NSF) on Tuesday clarified that no seat was allotted to Talukdar by the state government and could never be allotted even in the future.
In a press release, NSF secretary education Imtiyapang said the last date for admissions in all the medical institutions were over, adding that for the current year, all the seats were allotted to the Nagas. NSF said if at all even if an additional seat was to be allotted, it would be given to the Nagas who were in the waiting list.
Maintaining that it has been working with the appropriate authority from the day it was brought to its notice, NSF said it would never compromise on the welfare of the Nagas in any case.
