Western Yimchunger Women Organization (WYWO) has strongly condemned the “cold blooded murder” of four GPRN/NSCN members at Leangkongrü village on November 15. In a release, WYWO general secretary, Asola Yim dismissed Assam Rifles’ claim the incident as “accidental encounter” and said the act was like “murdering a human several times after the original murder”. WYWO further, urged the competent authority to conduct necessary enquiry and award befitting punishment to those responsible. It also urged the responsible authority to take up necessary steps and create friendly atmosphere for the students who were preparing their final exams. WYWO also expressed condolences to the bereaved family members and pray that Almighty God comfort them in this painful hour of grief.
