
Nagaland home minister, Y. Patton along with Director General of Police Nagaland, L.L. Doungel visited 3rd NAP Battalion HQ Tuensang, Friday.
During the visit, Patton interacted with battalion officers and discussed issues pertaining to the unit and unit requirements rose by the officers and gave assurance to look into the issues on priority basis.
The DGP also appreciated the role of security forces in augmenting the strength of the police and administration in the district.
Later, the team also visited Shamator subdivision and interacted with CO 15 A.R. Col. Vineet Jaiswal, ADC Shamator, Wonchio Odyuo and the officers of IRB.
The minister was accompanied by IGP NAP, Bendang Lemtur, DIG NAP/ range, Tokiumong Yimchungerand executive engineer PEP Alichen, Er. Hutoshe Sumi during the visit. The home minister and his entourage would also visit Kiphire and Phek.
