5 Assam Rifles (AR) along with police personnel conducted a search operation at Alahuto Colony, Zunheboto on July 17 and apprehended one alleged NSCN (K) cadre identified as ‘sergeant’ Aluto Achumi (29), a resident of Aochagalimi, Zunheboto.
According to AR, one .22 Pistol with magazine, five live rounds of point 22 caliber and 24 bottles of rum were also found in his possession.
The alleged cadre was later hander over to Zunheboto Police Station on the same day, AR added.
