First general conference of Pochury Students Union Phek town was held on July 23 at SIRD hall, Phek town under the theme, “design the society through education”.
Speaking as the chief guest, Subsidiary Intelligent Bureau (SIB) officer, Phek, Alarhu Nyuthe urged upon the students to be dedicated in their studies and to read more books. He said one should strive hard for any kind of targeted goals so as to be at par with others and to be a survivor in this highly competitive world. Guest of honour, DSO Phek, Nyushotho Nyuthe also urged the students to opt for hard work and be competitors in the world of modern technology. In the programme, PGC Phek, assistant professor Kuthorhole Nyuthe exposed the union theme, president PSUPT, Luthsuchu Trakgha delivered welcome note while Rasietho Kajiri PA to DC Phek exhorted the gathering.
Earlier, the programme was led by PSUPT information secretary, Lulachu Lhoutsuthu, Pochury Baptist Church Phek Town pastor, Wavitho said the invocation and head deacon/pastor, Pochury Baptist Church Phek Town, Chomong said the benediction.
