TUM elects new team

Tenyimi Union Mon (TUM) held a general meeting at Tenyimi Church (TC) compound, Mon Town with Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC), Aboi Wasu Katiry, as special guest of the programme.
At the meeting, house elected a new team of office bearers of Tenyimi Union Mon (TUM) for the tenure 2016-2018. 
The team would be led by Rajuselie Lhousa as president, John Lajao as vice president, Nieketuo Sopfu as general secretary along with five other members.
Official handing and taking over charge was held amongst the outgoing team and incoming team recently in the presence of seniors and elders from the community.
TUM also appealed all its members to render their service with commitment in their respective responsibility/ work place and restrain from activities considered unhealthy for the society.
Union has also informed all who have not renew their membership to clear the same in the undergoing membership drive. 
Failure on any part of a member would be considered non-inclusion of self in the union.
Union informed that members could update the activities and programmes of the union through the office bearers or friends.
TUM further informed that new members of Tenyimi community transferred to Mon district and any Tenyimi having plans to visit “The land of Anghs” to give prior information to any official of TU/TC Mon, to enable rendering better service for accommodation or guide.
