UAWS condemns assault

Upper Agri Women’s Society (UAWS) has “vehemently” condemned the “inhumane” act of threat to life and physical assault on Plevilie Kuotso, proprietor of seven six, at Old Ministers Hill junction on August 19.In a condemnation note, president UAWS, Achü M Dzüvichü and general secretary, Shetoli Tungoe, stated that Kuotso was an active member of Upper Agri Colony Council as information secretary and his service to the community was appreciable. Expressing pain over the assault on Kuotso, UAWS maintained that such harsh behaviour has no place in a civilized society and requested the concerned authority to tackle the matter with urgency.
