Reacting to the news item which was published on August 26 pertaining to ‘resignation from the post of mahila president BJP Kiphire district’, the BJP Kiphire district has clarified to the news item.
A press note by BJP Kiphire district president, Yangkhaba and general secretary, Likhumba Y. Sangtam stated that Lipila Ayee willingly resigned from the post of president as she was a government employee at VG department Kiphire. It stated that party had no ill-feeling towards the action as it was done in good faith. It further stated that most of the names list as appeared in media remains unknown and does not even exist in the party membership and some dedicated workers were even exposed without the knowledge of the concern just to create confusion. BJP Kiphire therefore stated that it would remain strong and dedicated with common purpose and destined to its goal and any hoax news or baseless statement related to party’s fate shall not cause hurdle or weaken the aims of the party.
