FLCC organized at Teichuma village

Nagaland State Co-operative Bank Ltd. Kohima main branch organized financial literacy programme on August 26 at Teichuma village, supported by FIF and managed by NABARD. 
Asst. BM & I/C  Nodal centre Kohima, S.Kevi Hibo in his  key note address  highlighted  the significant role played by NStCB Ltd specially for the rural poor farmers. Hibo  also requested the rural farmers and the participants to approach the Bank and avail credit facilities available in the Bank. 
Hibo also  elaborated  on  the importance of social security schemes  such as PMJJBY, PMSBY, PMFSY, APY &   and   opening of various types of accounts, small savings methods, curtailing of expenditures. 
Branch manager  H S J branch, Dusuzo Soho briefed the house on judicious utilization of loans and prompt  recovery of loan in the specific time frame, Manager also appealed the villagers and the public  in general to render their best services to the NStCB  so that the  department could also serve the public better. 
In the interactive session S.Kevi Hibo discussed about the formation of SHG, JLG & KCC Loan and seeding of Aadhaar Number in the accounts as the benefits entitled can be directly transfer to their accounts. Hibo   also highlighted dairy entrepreneurs development schemes which is a credit linkage subsidy scheme and challenged the participants to honestly venture the project sincerely.  
Earlier, the programme was chaired by Village Council chairman, Lhousakoulie Metha while pastor Baptist Church Teichuma, Razuosilie Mere invoked Gods’ blessing and the chairman delivered welcome address respectively. Benediction was pronounced by senior pastor Pfusovi Metha and vote thanks  delivered by  head GB  Vavise Sogotsu. The programme was attended by hundreds of villagers.
