
YouthNet under its ‘impact 5000 by 18’ which had conducted two-day programme at Kiphire concluded on Saturday. The programme was a joint venture of YouthNet and government of Nagaland with local partner IofC Kiphire, Partner for 2016-17, Quest alliance Accenture-Skills to succeed.
Youthnet’s five year plan which is focusing on entrepreneurship, career guidance, recruitment drive and clean election campaign was held in different schools and colleges and for entrepreneurship at Hopongkyu memorial hall and GA guest house Kiphire town. Job seeker booth was also setup at Deluxe Point Kiphire where many job seekers and unemployed youth came and learned from Youthnet.
Youthnet also visited various schools such as Government Higher Secondary School, Saramati School, Agape School and Trinity School Kiphire. Two young ambassadors for clean election campaign also presented their speech at the inaugural programme.The young ambassadors were from Agape School Kiphire.
Youthnet Impact 5000 by 18 Youthnet members Kiphire team were, director Youthnet, Lezo Putsure, chief analyst, John Mayase, recruitment lead, Ebibeni Humtsoe, and training head, Nune Chase.
The inaugural programme was held at Zisaji Presidency College Kiphire with superintendent of police Kiphire, Ben Longkumer as the guest speaker. Guest speaker spoke on various challenges that youth of Nagaland needed to face in future. He also spoke on the skills where youths needed to undergo for their livelihood.
