Due to the deplorable condition of roads near Khucho river between Khukiye-Lukhayi village and Chishilimi village, the vehicles reportedly couldnot ply on this road during rainy seasons.
This route is the shortest from Zunheboto connecting state capital Kohima-Dimapur.
Since none of the roads connecting Zunheboto with the capital is properly maintained by the concerned authorities, public and NGOs had no options but to resort to their own arrangements, so as to connect Zunheboto along with the rest of the state.
