The Annual Literary Event of Dimapur Mission Higher Secondary School, Dimapur was conducted on September 26 and 27 at DABA Town Fellowship, Dimapur.
The two days literary event began with a prayer by the Meyamongla C. Jamir, PGT. On the first day event such as Spell Bee, Solo, Quartet, Duet and Prepared Speech were conducted. The topics for prepared speech were – self employment is better than Government jobs and social networking and youth.
Events like Quiz, Flower Arrangement, Choreography, Fancy Dress and Painting were the events which took place on the second day.
The competition for fancy dress was based on three rounds namely – Flowers, Super Hero characters and 70’s Fashion. For the painting competition the themes were – “Save the Girl Child”, “Mr Dream for better Nagaland” & “Information Technology (Cyber Security Awareness)”.
The Competition was held among the four houses – Red, Blue, Yellow and Green which was further categorized into Senior and Intermediate. The overall champion was secured by Blue House. The two days event witnessed a grand success.
