Excise personal on September 27 under the command of three inspectors, Kakiho Yeptho, Apong Phom and Shihai Yeptho along with 12 other Excise personnel conducted surprise raids on Hotels & Restaurants located in Blue Hill Line, Circuit House colony junction. During the raid, they seized 150 bottles of assorted IMFL and 404 bottles of Beer.
In a press note by superintendent of Excise, S.Chanlei Angh. Altogether 21 persons were arrested and penalised as per the section of NLTP Act ’89.
