NPF Central Youth Wing has reacted to the news item, “BJP Pughoboto Mandal questions NPF Youth Wing”, published in local dailies on the issue of illegal appointments made at Health & Family Welfare department.
NPF Central Youth Wing media cell stated that it was not answerable to BJP Pughoboto Mandal, as it does not function under them, however, to clarify the subject matter at hand, it stated that NPF derive its strength from the grassroot people. It further pointed out that there were various instances where officers make “illegal and unauthorized appointments when they are on the verge of retirement” and the present case of “Health & Family Welfare was one of the classic example of such practices by an officer on the verge of retirement”. NPF Central Youth Wing further stated that BJP was a national party and expected to know that any appointment made without government approval was illegal and therefore liable to be dismissed. Central Youth Wing wonders why BJP Pughoboto Mandal was “so interested to protect the illegal and corrupt means done by those officers responsible for making random appointment without the approval of popular government when their high command leaders are talking tall on “Corruption Free India”?”. NPF Central Youth Wing stated that it would continue to check illegal appointments made without the approval of the government, as the party was committed to its election manisfesto.
