DGP Nagaland L.L. Doungel, IPS inaugurated VIP gallery here on Tuesday at NAPTC Stadium, Police complex Chumukedima.
Speaking on the occasion, Doungel said that the gallery at the stadium was a long needed one as many important functions pertaining to Nagaland Police and others were hosted in the NAPTC stadium.
He thanked the planners and all the officers and manpower involved in the construction of the VIP gallery.
He particularly thanked the police engineering project Chumukedima for the timely and quality construction.
The dedicatory prayer was offered by executive secretary NPBCA Rev. Dr. Hukashe Zhimomi, while welcome address was offered by DIG (Training & Border), Martin Pienyü IPS. Vote of thanks was proposed by commandant 1st NAP Bn, James Humtsoe NPS. The programme was chaired by commandant NAPTC, Teisovise Metha.
Earlier in the morning DGP also inaugurated the new officers’ hostel in the Nagaland police officers central mess. The officers’ hostel with eight rooms was constructed by Police Engineering Project Chumukedima with all modern amenities. DGP was accompanied by IGP (NAP), DIG (MOD) and host of senior police officers
