Nsong Kebai Public Organisation (NKPO) on Wednesday said it was dismayed by the involvement of “certain party to manipulate the formation of new team for the apex organization (Zeliangrong Baudi, Nagaland) of Zeliangrong tribe.” In a press note, NKPO president Ziekui Disuang said the involvement of political parties on party line was totally uncalled for and reminded that the Zeliangrong Baudi, being a social organization was to protect and uplift the social interest of Zeliangrong society.
NKPO has appealed to the Zeliangrong leaders to let the Baudi function independently for the integrity of our Zeliangrongs. “The political parties and their interest changes but the social organization can not be allowed to be swayed by these swinging interests of party interest”, NKPO stated.
