A combined programme of Rashtriya Sankalp Diwas (RSD) and Rashtriya Ekta Diwas (RED) was observed at DC’s conference hall, Kohima on October 31, organized by Kohima district administration and Kohima Municipal Council.
According to DIPR report, deputy commissioner, Kohima, Rovilatuo Mor administered the pledge of Rashtriya Sankalp Diwas or national re-dedication day. Administrator KMC, Kovi Meyase administered the pledge of Rashtriya Ekta Diwas where he said that the Rashtriya Ekta Diwas (National Unity day) was celebrated every year on October 31 to pay tribute to Vallabhbhai Patel, who was an instrumental in keeping India united.
The programme was attended by district administration, KMC, ward/colony chairmen and representative and political parties.
