Various political parties, civil society organisations and individuals have congratulated the newly sworn-in chief minister of Nagaland, Dr. Shürhozelie Liezietsu. Some of the organisations have also appreciated and congratulated former chief minister T.R. Zeliang.
NPF women wing: NPF central office women Wing Kohima have congratulated Dr. Shürhozelie Liezietsu and expressed the hope that under his leadership peace and normalcy would reign and bring all-round development in the state.
NPF Minority Wing: NPF Minority Wing has congratulated chief minister Dr. Shürhozelie Liezietsu on becoming the 11th chief minister of Nagaland and T. R Zeliang for his new assignment as the DAN chairman and advisor (Finance) to the government of Nagaland. The wing has also congratulated the council of ministers and parliamentary secretaries.
NPF Mkg: NPF Mokokchung Division has congratulated Dr. Shürhozelie Liezietsu and has also acknowledged and appreciated T. R. Zeliang for having relinquished the CM’s post as desired by the Naga apex bodies and paving the way for a smooth transition of power.
NPF Tsg Division: NPF Tuensang Division also congratulated the president of NPF Central, Dr. Shürhozelie Liezietsu and has also acknowledged and appreciated T. R. Zeliang, former chief minister of Nagaland for having relinquished the post of chief minister thereby enabling smooth transition of power.
NPF 45 A/C Tehok unit: NPF 45 A/C Tehok unit has also expressed happiness over Dr. Shurhozelie Liezietsu becoming the chief minister of Nagaland and wished him success. The party unit also congratulated T.R. Zeliang for relinquishing the chief minister chair to safeguard the situation and also for his appointment to the post of chairman, DAN Coordination Committee, Nagaland.
NCP: Nagaland state unit of the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) has welcomed and congratulated the new chief minister of Nagaland Dr. Shurhozelie Liezietsu and his council of ministers on assuming office of NPF-led DAN coalition government in the state of Nagaland.
K. L. Chishi: Former chief minister and member North East Congress Coordination Committee K.L. Chishi has congratulated Dr. Shurhozelie Liezietsu on his appointment. Chishi in expressed the hope that Dr. Shurhozelie would be in a position to steer the flagship of the state and its people with political sagacity.
Nagaland State RJD: Nagaland State RJD has congratulated Dr. Shurhozelie Leizietsu on becoming the chief minister of Nagaland and hoped that under his leadership the government would unify and bring all the section of “our” people together to achieve the common goal for brighter future.
