
Various organisations have condemned the incident where unidentified miscreant(s) fired at the house of one Zaremo Kikon at Darogapathar village, Dimapur on the night of February 20.
ALTNE: Amotsü Lobemo Tsoro-Nichen Ekhüng (ALTNE) of Tsungiki village under Wokha district has condemned the incident. Expressing shock and anger at the incident, ALTNE chairman Yanthungo Kikon said such incidents undermine the peaceful atmosphere of peace-loving citizens of societies everywhere. ALTNE has further urged the concerned authorities to thoroughly and speedily investigate the matter and award befitting punishment to the perpetrator/s of said incident.
TVC: Tsungiki Village Council (TVC) under Wokha district while condemning the incident said such incidents at the residences of any of its villagers would not be tolerated. TVC chairman Pilamo Ezung has urged the investigating authorities to thoroughly probe the matter and award befitting punishment to the perpetrator(s).
WTTE: Wokha Town Tsungiki Ekhung (WTTE) while condemning the incident said such incidents have no place in civilized society.WTTE chairman Oren Humtsoe and general secretary Rhanthungo Kikon have also urged the investigating agencies to speedily probe the matter and award befitting punishment to the perpetrators.
PBNLEE: Purana Bazaar Nkonjan Lotha Eloe Ekhung (PBNLEE) in has condemnation note, PBNLEE president Z. Lotha and general secretary Lichumbeni Jami has strongly condemned the incident and appealed the law enforcement agency to take up the incident with immediate measures.
