Parliamentary Secretary for Tourism, C Apok Jamir, has claimed that Naga People’s Front (NPF) party was the “only” party in Nagaland that has stood for the people.
Addressing NPF party workers at 27 Mokokchung Town A/C NPF party co-ordination meeting cum oath taking ceremony, Thursday, at his residence, Apok thanked the former Congress party workers who joined him in NPF—“the only party in Nagaland that stood for the people.”
He said told the party workers that he joined NPF so as to usher in an early solution to the Naga political issue. Apok also encouraged the party workers to more responsible, broad minded and farsighted.
Earlier, short speeches were delivered by NPF Mokokchung Division president, Moasangba Jamir, CEC member & ex-MLA R Lepden Lkr, NPF Mokokchung Division (Women Wing), Arenmongla, NPF 27 Mokokchung Town A/C president, Sanglipong. The programme was chaired by political secretary, Toshimeren.
