Second phase of plantation drive was undertaken by the New Wokha village council and VDB members around its jurisdiction along the highway 61 on Saturday.
In a press note, VDB secretary Chichamo Kithan has requested the public and passersby for co-operation towards caring for the newly planted saplings.
The village council and VDB members also acknowledged the DPO Wasteland Wokha for sponsoring the saplings.
