ONGC facilitates Startups

ONGC as part of its “ONGC start-up” project- to promote entrepreneurship among the younger Indians has shortlisted 32 applicants for start-ups in the oil and gas sector.
The 32 were shortlisted after second round of screening among the 2900 applications. The initiative was launched on August 14, 2014 ONGC (a Rs 100 crore Start-up fund) to foster, nurture and incubate new ideas related to oil and gas sector. The initiative, christened as ‘ONGC Start-up’, is also in line with the Government of India’s initiative ‘Start-up India’.
Pitching session to select ONGC Start-Up Fund was also held recently at IIT Bombay.
