Dimapur Lotha Students Union (DLSU) has appealed to all business establishments, firms and institutions to use the official name “Nyamo Lotha Road” on the section of road from Deluxe point to Dhobinala police point.
In a statement, DLSU president, B. Mhajan Tsopoe and general secretary, Ajanthung N Ovung said despite repeated appeals, most business establishments continue to use the old name “N.L. Road” thereby ignoring the official “Nyamo Lotha Road” renamed by the state government. The union has therefore, given one week time to those who are still using ‘NL road’ to immediately change it to “Nyamo Lotha Road”. DLSU said it would be compelled to take action for non-compliance.
