Nagaland Pollution Control Board (NPCB) and National Green Corps Programme (NGCP) have informed that painting (drawing sheet) and slogan (drawing sheet) competitions under the theme “protection of the ozone layer” are being organised in commemoration of “World Ozone Day”.
In a release, NPCB and NGCP have informed schools to submit “best entry” in each category to NPCB and NGCP (Eco Club) on or before September 25.
It has informed that the drawings would evaluated by a panel of judges from regional office of Ministry of Environment, Forests and Climate Change.
NPCB and NGCP said winner of different categories in the state would be awarded with cash prizes of Rs.10, 000, Rs. 7,500 and Rs. 5000 with certificates for first, second and third positions respectively and two consolations prizes with cash of Rs. 2000 and certificates each.
