Adviser for Soil & Water Conservation (S&WC) & Nagaland State Disaster Management Authority (NSDMA), Pukhayi Sumi called upon the officers and staff of S&WC to rededicate themselves and reclaim the “good image” of the department.
Addressing the officers of the department in a coordination meeting on Wednesday at the directorate conference hall, Kohima, Pukhayi stressed on the importance of coordination within department officers and advised them to maintain discipline and sincerity.
He also highlighted various spheres in which the department could render public service and stressed on successfully implementing different projects/schemes.
Commissioner and secretary, T. Nungsang Ao, also exhorted the officers and encouraged them to maintain regular attendance for smooth office functioning. He also highlighted on the different activities of the department.
The officers in turn had a feedback session and the interaction on a positive note. The programme was chaired by the additional director & HOD, S. N. Singh.
