Reacting to the statement issued by ACAUT, Anti-Corruption & Crime Investigation Front (ACCIF) has clarified that the front was in “no way a syndicate body, but a registered organization under the seal and signature of sub register, New Delhi.”
In a press note, ACCIF state unit president, Akhei Achumi further stated that the front was launched in Nagaland after the approval of its national president, Dr. Ishwar S Sharma on May 20, 2017. It also welcomed anyone to visit its office at H/no. 14, Padumpukhuri to know more about the front.
On Friday, ACAUT alleegd that ACCIF, a “bogus syndicate group”, had been harassing business community in the East Dimapur area jurisdiction by demanding tax and donation and in some instances even threatened business owners.
