Province level jubilee celebration of Dimapur Salesian priests – Fr. Kakkanat Chacko, Fr. Tom Karthik, Fr. Manianchira Sebatian, Fr. Vattoth Thomas, Fr. Kallarackal Job, Fr. Menamparampil George, Fr. Elow Samuel, Fr. Anthony Christudoss, Fr. Salew Peter and Fr. Kalluvelil Thomas – was held at Salesian College of Higher Education (SCHE), Saturday.
Provincial of Dimapur province, Fr. Nestor Guria, while asserting that it was more blessed to give than to receive, thanked the jubilarians for their selfless sacrifices and hard work in serving the people of God.
Social communication councillor of IND, Fr. Farcisius Toppo presented short bio-sketch of the jubilarians in his multi-media presentation.
The celebration commenced with the Holy Eucharist presided over by Fr. Tom Karthik followed by the felicitation programme.
Other highlights include Aa choir piece by Christ King Parish Kohima, dances by DBHSS Dimapur, Bosco College and Salesian College. Vice-provincial of IND, Fr. Bosco thanked the people concerned for the successful jubilee celebration which concluded with a festive meal.
