Coinciding with the ongoing 18th edition of the Hornbill Festival, Miss Nagaland 2017 beauty pageant is all set to find the ultimate queen of the state on December 8 to be held at RCEMPA, Jotsoma at 5 pm.
12 contestants from all the districts of Nagaland who were selected after a series of screening will be vying for the coveted title of ‘Miss Nagaland 2017’. The judges for the contest is said to be high profile personalities who will be coming from different parts of the country. Parliamentary Secretary, Department of Tourism-C. Apok Jamir, will be the chief host for the event while India Eastern Zone LIC zonal manager-K.S. Nagnyal will be the chief guest, Miss Nagaland 2016-Vilokali Zhimomi will be the guest of honour while FBB Femina Miss India Nagaland 2017 Kaheli Chophy will be the special guest.
The event will feature well known artistes including like Mar (Polar Lights), Vitz, Pezet Newme, Vikhriezonuo Yore, Atsula, Zubeni Kikon and Chubatola Imsong.
It may be mentioned that the grooming session for the contestants is underway with celebrity makeup artists, fashion choreographer and colour technician-Johnny D’Ascoli, beauty experts from Avon and B Blunt Dr. V. Khamo and Ela Susan as resource persons.
