Ambulances donated to ENPO Dmu, Kma units

MP (Lok Sabha), Neiphiu Rio, has donated one ambulance each to the Eastern Nagaland People’s Organisation (ENPO) Dimapur unit and Kohima unit at Dimapur, Tuesday.
A press release by PS to MP stated in his address, Rio remarked that earlier one ambulance each had already been donated to all four districts of eastern Nagaland – Mon, Tuensang, Longleng and Kiphire.
Rio urged upon the organisation and its respective units to utilise the ambulances well in order to help alleviate the hardships of the people.
He hoped that it would contribute to the up-liftment and welfare of the people of the respective districts.
The release informed that all the six ambulances have been donated under MPLADS 2017-18.
Speaking on behalf of the ENPO Kohima and Dimapur units, the Dimapur unit president, MC Ongbu Chang, expressed deep appreciation to the MP for his “humanitarian gesture” and said that it would go a long way in helping the people tremendously.
He assured that the ambulances would be utilised for the welfare of the economically challenged sections of the people who have to ferry sick patients or mortal remains.
ENPO president, Khoiwang Konyak expressed profound gratitude to the MP for always being concerned for the people of Eastern areas.
