A joint meeting of Bhandari Town Lotha Ho-Ho (BTLH), GBS, Bhandari Town Eloe Ho-Ho (BTEH), Bhandari Town Students Union (BTSU) along with Er. Sudip Singho and his staff on January 15 at Town Hall, Bhandari Town. In a press release, BTLH chairman, Lisumo Jami and BTSU, president, Longtsubemo Kikon, the joint meeting was held in connection of the ongoing construction of national highway road from Wokha-Merapani which is the “only lifeline” road for Wokha district. The release informed that the meeting thoroughly discussed about the system of road construction and the resolution adopted on August 7, 2017 general meeting wherein it was resolved that any lost or damage of properties, if any, shall be compensated by the contractor/company as per ‘schedule of the government rate”. The members also decided to cooperate with the contractor/company while requesting them to construct the road as per government/DPR specification.
