In a review meeting convened by state Home Commissioner on January 18, it has been reiterated that attendance of all government officials and staff was mandatory at the flag hoisting ceremony on Republic Day, January 26.
According to DIPR report, attendance would be recorded by respective department and submitted to Home Department.
Governor of Nagaland, P.B. Acharya, will hoist the National Flag to mark the event. March past, presentation of meritorious awards, exhibition by various departments, cultural performances, inter-ward tug-of-war competition and exhibition football match in the evening would be the highlights of the celebration.
