All Nagaland School Teacher’s Association (ANSTA) has appealed to the chief minister to allocate the education portfolio to the “right person”.
A press release from ANSTA president, Ponchulo Wanth and general secretary, Visato Koso said the association was making this appeal considering the varied problems that infest the department of school education. It urged the chief minister to assign a person who understood the problems of the teachers and students at the grass root level and possessing good problem solving skills since the departments needed “total transformation and revamping.”
Besides this appeal, ANSTA congratulated the chief minister on being elected to the post of chief minister for the fourth time.
