Former chief minister of Nagaland, KL Chishi has declined the post of chairman, Development Authority of Nagaland (DAN).
In a press release, KL Chishi stated that, while appreciating the recognition given to him, he had to decline the offer. “As BJP member, a senior and veteran politician at national and regional domain of politics, I am much concerned with unresolved Indo-Naga political issue and a realistic approach to development of the state on all round with special attention accorded to youth resource development and employment” Chishi stated in the press release.
Further, he affirmed that he stood by his “principles of commitment”.
