The VK Range Students’ Union (VKRSU) has expressed its disappointment over the functioning of the lone high school for VK area and all nine villages under it and has notified the school authorities to run the academic session in full swing by Wednesday.
A press release by VKRSU president, Toino K. Wokhami and vice-president, Huto K. Ayemi stated that, not only was school delayed due to the elections, but in spite of repeated appeals by the union, the school is yet to start its academic session in full swing. VKRSU pointed out that it was surprised to find only two teachers present at station without the headmaster.
VKRSU further cautioned that failure on the part of school authorities to start the full academic session, the union would be forced to initiate its own course of action for welfare of the student community.
