National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD) launched a Khulazu Basa Farmers Club on June 15 at Khulazu Basa village, Phek district.
A press release by NABARD, Phek, stated that the farmers club was sponsored by NABARD and promoted by Nagaland State Co-operative Bank (NStCB), Pfutsero branch.
DDM NABARD, Imsunaro, said that the forum could act as a bridge between the villagers and banks/stakeholders leading to better banker borrower relationships.
ACTO, KVK, Dr. Esther, spoke about various agricultural technologies available that the farmers could utilize for enhancing their income.
BM, NStCB Pfutsero, Mhathung, dwelt on building relationships with villagers through the farmers’ club platform and proper use of banking.
