The Green Loving People’s Club (GLPC) under the aegis of Nehru Yuva Kendra, (NYK) Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Govt of India, Dimapur carried out various activities of Swachhta for 100 hrs from May to July as part of Swachh Bharat Summer Internship for 2018 under the supervision of district nodal officer, SBSI, NYK, Dimapur, K. Phyobemo Lotha.
A young team comprising mainly of college students carried out activities spreading awareness campaign at schools, performing street play on the theme, “Save Mother Earth”, cleaning streets, hastag photo campaign, cleaning and painting of flyover footpath at Nyamo Lotha Road. The team also put up awareness quotes and placards at various places with the aim of changing people’s mindset.
