On being accredited “B grade” by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), St. John College Dimapur held a thanksgiving program on July 11.
A press release by SJC Dimapur administrative head, Peter Banks stated that a welcome speech was delivered by prof. S.T. Janetius, principal SJC. He stated that one should not perceive the NAAC accreditation simply as a decoration, but as a stepping-stone to achieving greater heights.
The program was hosted by AshaThapa, invocation was said by St John pastor Toshi Imchen followed by a Bible reading delivered by a 3rd Semester student.
Pastor Supong Jamir (Dimapur Christian Fellowship) in his message, reflected on God’s enduring mercy on the St. John family and reminded the college to recommit the institution into the hands of God.
Peter Banks and Dr. Anungla (former IQAC coordinator) delivered words of acknowledgement and vote of thanks respectively.
Benediction was given by pastor Toshi. The program was attended by college management, governing body members, current college students, alumni, parents association, and other invitee stakeholders.
