Phek Town Youth Society (PTYS) under the “Clean Green Operation” as part of their routine social work carried out its quarterly cleanliness drive on July 28 in 11 colonies of the town.
A press release from PTYS stated that the members picked scattered polythene bags, wrappers and other waste materials in the drains and at the road sides. PTYS has also reiterated its appeal to citizens to keep their surroundings clean so as to keep the town clean and green.
Meanwhile, PTYS has informed all colonies that the inter-colony tournament has fixed from October 13-20.
