KDLSA induction training programme

The Kiphire District Legal Service Authority (KDLSA) conducted an inaugural-&-induction training program for teachers-in-charge and legal literacy club members at DC conference hall Kiphire on September 15.
A press release from Kiphire District Legal Service Authority panel lawyer, Hotingkyu stated that, in the program, he spoke on the role and importance of the legal literacy club and constitutional values.
Hotingkyu futher said that the central aim of the LLC was to impart legal knowledge to youngsters for a better generation and he urged them to be enthusiastic to acquire more experience in legal aspects.
Asuthong, PLV spoke on the functions of the para-legal volunteers. He said that the PLVs work as a bridge between the common people and the court as well as other government benefits provided to the people.
Earlier, in the program chaired by District Legal Service Authorityproject assistant Rebica, the welcome address was given by Tsipongse PLV and benediction by Yutsala, PLV.
It was attended by 74 participants who included legal literacy club members led by teachers-in-charge from GHS Phelunger, GHS Yangphi Kiphire, GHS Amahator Town, El-Beth High School Kiphire and Cambridge High School Kiphire.
A computer set and furniture were provided to the LLC by the Nagaland State Legal Service Authority (NSLSA).
