DIMAPUR: NCC Cadets JW/JD of St Mary’s Cathedral Higher Secondary School (SMCHSS), Lerie, Kohima observed ‘Swacchta Hi Sewa’ on September 15 through a cleanliness drive in its adopted village, Viswema.
A press release by Dr. Jaison C J stated that the day began with participants gathering in front of the village hall where cadets were divided into four groups and deputed to different khels under the guidance of the village youth volunteers.
NCC cadets of the school have extended its thanks to the village council and youth for their support and guidance for the success of the event.
A total of 80 cadets participated under the guidance of two associate NCC officers, Khamkiumong L John of 24 Nagaland NCC (I) Coy Kohima and Margaret Chaya of 1NL Girls Bn NCC.
