Deputy Commissioner Kohima, Rajesh Soundararajan has ordered all shop owners along NH-29 (Kohima-Dimapur Highway) from Piphema to Khuzama Gate to paint their shops on or before November 15.
A DIPR report stated that the shop owners have also been directed to install at least one light bulb in front of each shop on or before the same date.
The order had been issued in view of the forthcoming Hornbill Festival to revamp the surroundings along NH-29.
