
Kigwema Youth Organisation (KYO) organized a thanksgiving gathering on the completion of a Flood Lights Project at Kigwema local ground, commonly known as Khulera by the village people, on November 3 in the presence of sponsors and well wishers.
According to DIPR, speaker, Nagaland Legislative Assembly, Vikho-o Yhoshu, who also hails from Kigwema, lit up the flood lights.
Addressing the gathering, Yhoshu congratulated the youth organization for successfully completing the project. He also expressed his sincere gratitude and appreciation to the organization for undertaking the project for the welfare of the village. He also promised to extend his support to any more development of the project in future.
KYO president, Vibelie Mera, in his address said that the youth organization intends to organize a Night Bazaar at Kigwema local ground during the Hornbill Festival under the theme “Traditional Evening Part.”
The Night Bazaar will be held from 4 pm to 8 pm every evening showcasing traditions and culture with food items, fineries etc. He also said, about 40 to 50 stalls are to be set up by SHGs and other various groups to showcase and also to promote locally available products.
He therefore, requested the public to come forward and support the youth to boost and encourage them by buying their products, and food items.
