HASSA meeting: HASSA’s newly inducted executive has convened an important meeting for November 25, 2:30 p.m. at the residence of its banker, Vihoshe Yeptho, Ikishe village, to be followed by handing and taking over of office by the new team. All concerned have been requested to attend the meeting.
NU to conduct faculty development program: Department of Teacher Education (DTE) and department of Education, Nagaland University (NU) will be jointly organising a five-day faculty development program on “Nai Talim, Work Education, Experiential Learning and Community Engagement” on November 26 at NU Kohima campus, Meriema.
ENSF 2nd federal assembly: Eastern Naga Students’ Federation (ENSF) has informed all its officials and all federating units that the 2nd Federal Assembly 2017-2020 will be held on November 30 at Tuensang HQ. All the officials of ENSF, all advisors, federating units and subordinate units have been requested to attend the federal assembly. Officials have also been asked to submit “genuine agendas” to the speaker on or before November 28.
NGBF informs: Nagaland GB Federation (NGBF) has informed all district GBs Associations to attend the 100th anniversary celebration of Naga Club at Khuochiezhe, Kohima on November 29, 11 am.
NPGN/NNC (N/A) reinstates kilonser: NPGN/NNC (N/A) has reinstated the then finance kilonser, Hokato Rotokha as kilonser with immediate effect. In a release, NPGN/NNC (N/A) home secretary, Tokaho Chophy, stated that consequent upon termination of Hokato, no substantial evidence was found against him due to which the collective leadership has reinstated the kilonser.
Upper Chandmari Panchayat informs: Upper Chandmari Panchayat has informed all residents of the colony that repair/renovation/construction of drainage/road will be undertaken from Chakesang Revival Church to government printing press office. The concerned residents/individuals have been asked to remove or realign their respective water pipe lines within seven days, with effect from November 29, failing which no complaint whatsoever shall be entertained afterwards.
