LVC advent Christmas Night Carnival begins

 Advent Christmas Night Carnival) organized by Lengrijan Village Council (LVC) Dimapur, was inaugurated by Deputy Commissioner Dimapur, Sushil Kumar Patel, on December 17.

Speaking in a inaugural programme, DC greeted season’s greetings to the residents of Lengrijan and said night carnivals were meant for quality time with families and loved ones. 

He also said that local entrepreneurs will get a chance to showcase their talents and will benefit from selling their products.

He informed the gathering that the district administration will also help and assist the Lengrijan village in whatever possible ways.

While delivering welcome speech, N.Meren Imchen informed the gathering that with the opening of advent Christmas night carnival in 2017, the revenue generated and contributions by the residents was used in maintaining the village road. Again, 2018 revenue generated will be utilised for village drainage system.

A total of 153 stalls with different varieties including Korean food, artificial flowers, craft, food courts, children fun fares, Tambola etc. has been put up at the carnival.
