Poumai Naga Union (PNU) has expressed sadness at the sudden demise of General (Retd) Kholi Konyak, Vice Chairman, NSCN/GPRN on December 12. In a condolence note, PNU described late Kholi as a tall leader with a clarity of vision, commitment, dedication and sacrifice his life until his last breath. The union termed Kholi’s death as a great loss to Naga people when the Naga political movement was heading towards solution. PNU further conveyed condolences to bereaved family members and prayed for the departed soul to rest in peace.
