Two-week long Shehri Samridhi Utsav 2019, a street food festival is currently underway at high school junction, Kohima.
The festival began on February 4 under the theme “Eat Safe, Eat Healthy and Eat Fortified”.
According to DIPR report, the event is organised by SUDA in collaboration with Food Safety, Nagaland under Health and Family Welfare, Kohima Municipal Council (KMC) and National Livelihood Mission. Similar mela will be organised at main town MLA junction and BOC in the coming weeks. All together fifteen Self Help Group (SHG) are participating in the street food festival; displaying and selling varieties of local products like fruits, vegetables, flowers and handicrafts.
