St Anthony High School, Tenyiphe gets new administrative block

A new administrative block of St Anthony High School, Tenyiphe was inaugurated by NDPP treasurer, Dr. John Murry on Tuesday after it was dedicated by Bishop James Thoppil in the presence of parents, well-wishers, friends and students.

A press release by Fr Victor Renthungo stated that Bishop James Thoppil, in his address, recollected his association with St. Anthony School way back in 1990 and congratulated the staff and management for their efforts.
Thoppil also acknowledged the dedication of the priests, sisters and the parents for working for the welfare of the students, while emphasizing Catholic education as a medium to give light and joy to the community by living the values of the Gospel.
Dr. John Murry also congratulated the staff and management and acknowledged the village administration for the good governance and constant support towards the school. 
Outlining the contributions of the Catholic Church in the field of education, Dr. Murry also called upon the gathering to thank and love the Catholic Church for the manifold blessings in the society.  
He encouraged students to be part of the success story. 
A basketball court was also inaugurated by the special guest and Bishop James. 
Earlier, vice principal of St Anthony High School, Fr Dominic Kwettrangging delivered the welcome address.
