The new team of office bearers of the Nagaland Press Association (NPA) held its introductory meeting on March 17 at Hotel Japfü in Kohima.

NPA president, H. Chishi and joint secretary, Alice Yhoshü, in a press release expressed appreciation for the efforts of the association’s previous office bearers led by K. Temjen Jamir towards strengthening the press fraternity in Nagaland.
Reaffirming its aim to pursue and safeguard the Fourth Estate’s significance in the State as envisioned in the NPA constitution, the new team appealed to all Nagaland-based journalists, and non-working journalists working in different media houses (in and outside the state) to further strengthen the press community enrolling in the NPA by contacting any of the office bearers.
