The NSCN/ GPRN (Reformation) has temporarily suspended collection of taxes within Chakhesang region. It has informed the public that it will not collect taxes from anybody under Chakhesang region till a decision is finalized among members of its Chakhesang region.
The NSCN(R), through its MIP, cautioned businesses and members of the public to not entertain anybody asking for collections or donations till a decision is published in the media. It added that after publication of this statement, if any member of the NSCN (R) is found collecting taxes within Chakhesang region from the public or businesses, they will be expelled.
