Reacting to Nationalist Democratic Progressive Party (NDPP)’s claim of official merger of the JD (U) Nagaland unit with NDPP, the Janata Dal (United) said the claim has greatly tarnished the good image of the JD (U) widely and publicly. In a letter addressed to NDPP president, JD(U) coordinator (publicity & program) Mohammad Nisar has requested NDPP to furnish the relevant documentary evidences to support the claim of the “Official merger” within seven days. Failure to furnish within stipulated period, the JD(U) cautioned that the party would be compelled to pursue other lawful course of action against NDPP.
